Definitely carry your dress on to the plane! Ask your airline ahead of time if they have a place to store it during the flight. Be cautious of mailing your gown, especially to islands in Hawaii and the Caribbean. "Island time" means slower mail and you don't want to chance not having your gown on the big day. If it gets wrinkled while traveling, see if your resort offers steaming, or can recommend somewhere that will. Hope this helps!
