Celebrate the wedding of your dreams on your own private island, with a free stay for the bride and groom! Barefoot Cay, a luxury boutique resort on Roatan in the Bay Islands of Honduras, includes a private 4-acre cay, where groups of 26 have the entire resort to themselves. The resort is a secluded paradise, with two beachfront one-bedroom bungalows and two beachfront two-bedroom villas, as well as three oceanview studio lofts and two oceanview two-bedroom loft suites.
All accommodations feature Heavenly beds, high quality linens, goose down pillows, air conditioning, high speed internet, TV/DVD, and courtesy cell phones. Additional guests, to a maximum of 60 wedding guests total (additional fees apply for groups of over 26), can join you on the cay for the wedding itself and stay at an alternative resort nearby. For guests staying at the resort, there are the options of accommodations only or inclusive meal plan. Each accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen for those who prefer to do cooking themselves. All accommodation and inclusive rates include airport transfers, welcome drink, daily housekeeping and use of kayaks and snorkel equipment. Our exclusive private island wedding package is just $4,200 including tax and basic gratuity, and includes the following:
• Pedicure, manicure, hair and make-up for the bride
• Decoration of wedding aisle and site, including tropical blooms
• Bouquet of tropical blooms for the bride, boutonniere for the groom
• Officiant for blessing ceremony (for a legal wedding, additional charges apply)
• Guitar soloist for bride’s entry and following ceremony (1 hour total)
• 3 hours professional photography including edited disc of images
• 6 bottles of champagne for toasting and an array of appetizers following the ceremony
• Four course dinner for 26 people, including dining area set with wedding linens
• 10 bottles of house wine
• 2 drink tickets per person for 26 (choice of beer, mixed drinks or soda)
• 2-tier wedding cake
• 5 hours of DJ services
• Fire dance performance
• Late night snacks
Resort amenities include pool, beach, PADI 5 Star dive center, Barefoot Divers, spa, deep sea fishing charters, restaurant and gift shop. Wedding packages for smaller groups or couples on their own are also available. Barefoot Cay is also the ideal location for a romantic honeymoon. Activities around Roatan include swimming with dolphins, sailing, horseback riding, ziplining, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking and more.
To get to Barefoot Cay, there are direct flights to Roatan’s international airport from Houston, Newark, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal and El Salvador, as well as connections through the mainland of Honduras. Courtesy transportation is included from the Roatan airport to the resort.
Free stay in a beachfront bungalow for the bride and groom is only valid when booking of all the resort accommodations for a minimum period of one week (regular rates apply for stays shorter than 7 nights). Free stay includes inclusive plan if all guests are booked on an inclusive plan, and accommodations only if guests book accommodations only. All weddings at Barefoot Cay are only available when booked in conjunction with a minimum stay of 3 nights. If booking the private island wedding, our small, private marina may have a few guests who could be present at the resort pool or dining area. The marina and cay are not open to the general public, so you are assured of privacy.
