Best idea you had in planning a destination wedding: Hiring school buses for transportation! A majority of our guests were staying 20 minutes away from the wedding venue, but we didn't want anyone to drive afterwards. Not only was it considerably cheaper than anything else, having a school bus pick up our guests was totally cool!
