Best advice to future brides and grooms of destination weddings: Hire a wedding coordinator! We basically had a DIY wedding where we coordinated everything: tent and table setups, assembling the bouquets and centerpieces, organizing the DJ and sound system, among other things. It was way too much for a bride and groom to take on. In hindsight, the only thing I would have done differently is hire a coordinator so I could spend less time stressing the details.
