Winning Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Designs Announced!
July 18th, 2011
by Jessica Olama
We’re huge fans of Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com’s Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, as you might’ve witnessed from our previous blog posts (here and here). Each year we’re amazed by the elaborate designs that look like they came straight off the runways but are made out of just toilet paper, tape and glue! For this year’s seventh annual contest, judges sorted through almost 1,000 submissions, and the winning entries are as spectacular as ever.
Taking home the $1,000 grand prize this year is Susan Brennan from Orchard Lake, Michigan. Her nature-inspired gown incorporated feathers, flowers and pleat details made from only four rolls of TP, packing tape and hot glue!

Second prize and $500 went to Milpitas, California, resident Laura Lee, who created this flamenco-style gown from five rolls of one-ply toilet paper, clear duct tape, first-aid tape and spray adhesive.

Third-prize winner, Cynthia Richard from Marietta, Georgia, nabbed the $250 prize with this ornate gown using a whopping 20 rolls of toilet paper, duct tape and three types of glue: hot glue, Mod Podge glue and fabric glue.

Stop by Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com to view videos, see past contest winners and gather inspiration for next year’s contest. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
