signature drink ideas - candy cane lane cocktail recipe

We just had two fantastic cocktail recipes come our way from the mixologists over at Van Gogh Vodka, and we think they’d both make excellent signature drinks for a winter or holiday-themed destination wedding. The Candy Cane Lane martini tastes just as good as it looks (peppermint, yum!) and the Hot Caramel Buttered Rum is a perfect pick-me-up for destination fetes held in colder locations. Check out both of the recipes below. And if you’re looking for a drink idea less holiday-centric, don’t forget 10 Signature Cocktail Recipes photo gallery.

Candy Cane Lane

Ingredients:

  • 2-1/2 oz Van Gogh Blue Vodka
  • 1 oz White crème de menthe
  • 1/2 oz Peppermint schnapps
  • Cream
  • Splash of Grenadine
  • Peppermint candy for garnish

Directions:

Add a dash of grenadine into the bottom of a chilled martini glass and set aside.  Pour the rest of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into the glass with grenadine to create a “swirl” effect.  Garnish with peppermint candy.’
