Inspiration It was a split-second moment during the reception. There was so much emotion, excitement and happiness in the room, and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it.
How to capture a similar moment This was a journalistic image that was not planned — the result of an emotional moment, part of a joyous tradition in a Jewish wedding. They also hired an amazing live band that really got the party going!
Best part of shooting weddings away A destination wedding has an added level of excitement, not only for the couple but also for all the guests because they’re experiencing something new. It’s also a wonderful way to bring your families closer, as they will most likely be spending more than just one evening together. On a personal note, I meet so many amazing couples every year and make new friends across the globe. I have a passion for travel and love any opportunity to see the world and experience something new. I can’t imagine a career I would love more than destination-wedding photography. I feel honored to be a part of my clients’ celebrations.
